Visit Athens… in Vilnius! Starting today, the international exhibition “Archimedes and his Time” will offer a free presentation of the exhibition. The exhibits are collected from the Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology in Athens, Heraklion (Crete), historic Olympia and the port of Katakolos.
Interactive exhibition “Archimedes and his time”
During the presentation, an ETM guide will introduce you to the remarkable inventions of ancient times, from robots, the first cinema, the analogue computer and the first vending machine, to military engineering, cryptographic techniques, scientific illusions, sports and games. The exhibition consists of interactive exhibits that allow visitors to test the working principles of old technologies.
Delivery time – 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Presentations take place from Tuesday to Friday at 17:00.
No pre-registration.
Attendance is subject to a museum visitor and exhibition ticket.
