Energy and Technology Museum opens an exhibition of illustrations “Double Feelings”

The Museum of Energy and Technology opens an exhibition of illustrations entitled “Double Feelings”

On September 1st, Energy and Technology Museum opened an exhibition of illustrations by illustrator-designer Gvidas Misiūnas entitled “Double Feelings”. The illustrator-designer tells us that the idea for the exhibition was born at the beginning of the global pandemic, when many people were experiencing quite complex and ambiguous feelings.

“Double Feelings“, a series of illustrations that started during the global pandemic of Covid-19, has been reborn and continued. During the pandemic, many people experienced a range of feelings. Constraints, stress, helplessness, exclusion and uncertainty were present in almost everyone’s life. Most of them have felt and lived through it, and it is natural that these emotions have led to the development of most of the plots in this series. These conceptual stories touch on areas such as: loneliness, relationships, various fears, social networks and their place in everyone’s life”, says Misiūnas about the exhibition.

Gvidas Misiūnas is an illustrator/designer. While studying graphic design, he became interested in the genre of illustration, accumulating knowledge and practice in this field. His active search for style led to his current style, which is characterised by soft pastel colours, clean compositions and conceptual solutions, leaving the viewer room for personal interpretations.

The exhibition will be open until 1st of November at Energy and Technology Museum.
