Adapt — not Reconcile | Climate Neutral Vilnius Weekend

Vilnius has been named the European Green Capital 2025. In order to become a climate-neutral capital by 2030, Vilnius invites you to meet on October 28-29th at the Energy and Technology Museum to discuss how in the near future we will reduce CO2 emissions, the effects of climate change, and increase city cleanliness, energy independence and efficiency.

The event and visiting the museum expositions will be free. Join us in the discussions about the future!

OCTOBER 28TH

From 10 AM – Climate Week 2023 Fair

At the stands, educations about sustainability are presented by:
“Let’s Renovate the City”

10.30 AM to 11.30 AM – Guided Tour in the Transformation Hall + Tesla Show

In the new modern exposition about renewable energy, you will find more than two dozen interactive exhibits.

12.00 to 12.40 PM – Discussion “Vilnius Altogether: Implementing Sustainable Solutions”

What strategic projects are needed to achieve neutral climate in 2030? How to reduce CO2 emissions and increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable resources? Sustainable Vilnius – mission possible?

Habits are easier to form than to change. How can every citizen contribute to sustainability today? How will we solve the problems of consumption, sorting and pollution in the future? What is the power of Vilnius residents’ habits?

The event and visiting the museum expositions are free.

The number of participants in one guided tour is limited (up to 30 people), there is no pre-registration. The number of visitors in discussions is not limited.

The event will be photographed and filmed.

Vilnius is one of the “100 climate-neutral and smart cities” and aims to become a climate-neutral city by 2030. As a result, more and more attention is being paid every year to efficient city management, sustainable mobility, energy independence, climate change mitigation, technological innovation and public education about responsible consumption.
