The Energy Exhibition welcomes its visitors to the first public power plant of Vilnius. The power plant’s equipment consists of authentic steam boilers, turbines, generators, control panel room, various pipes and condensers.
The history of the power plant is presented from its launch in 1903 to its shutdown in 1998. The Energy Exhibition also invites you to look at the history of electrification of Lithuania. Among the most interesting exhibits are the layouts of Kruonis Pumped Storage and Ignalina Nuclear Power Plants. The latter was used for the production of the cult HBO TV series “Chernobyl”.
