On Jun 1st. “Go Vilnius” invites Vilnius residents and visitors to welcome the summer season at the “Vilnius Pink Soup Fest”, which is being held in Vilnius for the second year in a row. On this occasion, pink science experiments will take place in the Liepkalnis water storage facility, and delicious pink soup will be served to refresh you.
Last year, the residents of the capital welcomed the summer with a loud noise. More than 7,000 people attended the “Vilnius Pink Soup Fest“. The Pink Soup Festival was attended by over 7,7 thousand people. The highlight of the festival was the 50 metre long slide, which was tested by almost 200 of the most adventurous participants. Dovilė Aleksandravičienė, Head of the Vilnius Tourism and Business Development Agency “Go Vilnius”, says that this year’s highly successful Vilnius Cold Barbeque Festival is ready to surprise the participants with even more spectacular entertainment.
“The Pink Soup Festival in Vilnius is a unique gastronomic event, as no other city in the world has such a festival and it is the official brand of our capital. If last year the festival was more experimental, this year our goal is to grow and expand even more and to prepare a programme that will delight visitors of all ages and interests. We are delighted with last year’s success and hope to not only repeat it, but also to go well beyond it, especially by inviting foreign guests and spreading the word about the festival globally,” said D. Aleksandravičienė.
